Cal Thompson is the President and Founder of Sync. Cal prides himself on building lasting relationships with clients by combining service with product knowledge. Cal believes that the most important part of doing business in a fast-paced world filled with technology is a personal touch, he considers his people to be his most valuable asset. Having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida, Cal founded SYNC in 2013 as "Thompson Insurance & Financial Services". In his career he has been a Court of the Table Million Dollar Round Table producer*, a Central Florida Board Member for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and enjoys serving in many areas of his community. Cal often jokes that the only thing not living in harmony are his two dogs, Koji and Kaya, who keep him quite busy. He is an avid golfer, real estate investor, and Magic fanatic.

Christa is the Individual Health Sales Manager for our South Florida office in Palm Beach Gardens. She provides training and support to our agents as well as excellent customer service to clients. She values her time spent with every client, while getting to know them, in order to ensure they find a health policy that fits their needs and the needs of their family. She enjoys helping others and has spent over 20 years in the industry. She believes quality service plays a vital role in assisting clients, and prides herself on finding answers to clients’ questions, even if she has to go searching for them. In her off time she spends time with family and friends, is an active member in her children’s school and extracurricular activities. As a family the Brockway’s enjoy the outdoor activities such as playing in the pool, going to the beach, fishing and hunting.
Chad Vergason is a Group Benefits Specialist who works with employers to increase employee retention, and morale by creating benefit packages suitable for the company. Chad believes that good benefits are just as important as a good salary, and in the years to come may hold heavier weight in the employment sphere. He is a licensed insurance broker. Chad holds a degree in entrepreneurial management and finance from the University of Central Florida. To keep his work-life balance in sync, Chad enjoys spending time with family kayaking, camping, and fishing. He is an avid nature photographer and musician.
Randy Woolfe is a Health and Life agent who has assisted clients for over 10 years. Randy feels that safeguarding individuals against financial loss is of paramount importance, because of this Randy strives to inform clients about different coverages that save money and fit in with a plan desgined to achieve financial security. Randy served in the mortgage industry for 25 years prior to entering the insurance industry and has been able to carry over many of the skills he learned and apply them to clients’ needs. When he is not helping families increase their quality of life, he spends time with his wife of 37 years, his two children, and 3 grandchildren. He considers family to be his most significant joy in life and is ecstatic to spend every moment he has with them.
Kristina is the Special Project and benefits Coordinator at SYNC. Bringing 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Kristina’s past 6 years have been focused exclusively on the health and life insurance industry. Kristina uses her knowledge to help clients understand the products that are designed to both benefit and protect them. She believes that having a good balance between the two is incredibly important, you could say….. she likes things to be in SYNC. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. When she is not helping clients, Kristina surrounds herself with her family and cherishes being an aunt. Keeping with the SYNC lifestyle, she is an avid kayaker and beach goer, as well as an enthusiastic skier, snowmobiler, golfer and Nascar fan!
Mary Penn is the Director of Business Development. Mary's years of experience in insurance sales and marketing make her uniquely qualified for client relationship management. Mary's overall management skill for establishing strategic relationships brings a lot of value to how we Sync with our clients. Mary has several years experience in sales and over 10 years in the insurance industry with life, health, disability, voluntary, group and individual products. Her overall knowledge of what customers want and what customers need help our team provide excellent service to our customers.
Mary has another unique skill and that is her passion for fishing. Growing up in Michigan, the Great Lake State, and then moving to Florida as a young adult, Mary quickly developed a love for both fresh water and salt water fishing. Her tales of catching the big one are always backed up with pictures of giant fish and giant tales. She spends time fishing with her husband on their boat enjoying the beautiful Florida coast or the hundreds of miles of lakes and rivers we are surrounded by in Central Florida.
